A last-minute musical masterpiece: Chaim Itzkowitz has teamed up with superstar composer Shaya Gross and the renowned Motty Atias for a stunning new single, “Reb Amram Ben Diwan.” The track was produced in honor of the historic Bar Mitzvah of their dear friend, Getzy Herskovits, taking place on Moroccan soil.
The story behind the song began a few years ago during a meaningful trip to Morocco. While visiting the holy sites, Chaim composed a powerful melody—a song of prayer asking the Tzaddik to intercede and bring Yeshuos for Klal Yisrael. For years, the song remained tucked away and unreleased. Eventually, it caught the attention of vocalist Motty Atias, who recognized its deep emotional power and knew the world needed to hear it. Still, the project sat waiting for the perfect moment.
That moment arrived this week. With hundreds of family members and friends gathering in Morocco for the milestone Bar Mitzvah, Motty knew it was time to bring the song to life. In a frantic race against the clock—just hours before leaving for the airport—Motty jumped into action and gathered the team. They rushed into the studio, finalizing the production just in time for both the historic trip and the Tzaddik’s upcoming Yahrtzeit tonight
