The song represents a fervent תפילה that the coming year be the year of ישועות ונחמות for כלל ישראל and is based on a text from the well-known Piyut in Selichos to Erev Rosh Hashana, addressing theשלוש עשרה מדות – The Thirteen Middos (Attributes) – of הקב”ה.

The song so stunningly interpreted and sung by Avremel Fried שליט”א and arranged by the incomparable Moshe Laufer, takes me back to that time of innocence, years ago when we had all just met and began our musical journey together בעזהשי”ת.
