On the day of the celebration of Rabbi Chaim Ben Atar, the emotional artist Mendy Vizel presents a new and exciting single “Lema’ale Mayhem“, based on one of the deep and uplifting messages of the author of the holy “Ohr HaChaim”.

The song brings to life the honey-sweet words of the holy Ohr Hachaim, which teach that although Hashem enjoys the singing of the angels and the singing of the tzaddikim in Gan Eden, it is more beloved to Him than all the singing that comes from the mouths of humans here in this world, when they sing in His honor out of struggle, faith, and longing.

The melody was composed by Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, who originally performed it as a complex work in his beit medrashim. Now the tune has been given a new, powerful and moving arrangement, performed by Mendy Vizel, who gives the words new life and conveys the message in an accessible and moving way.

One of the highlights of the work is the integration of a rare and moving passage from the words of the Holy Ohr Hachaim , recited in the voice of the rabbi, Rabbi Pinchas David Bunker, Shlita, who adds a layer of depth and inspiration and connects the listener to the great spirit of the author of the hymn.

The project was produced in collaboration with the “Torat Chaim” association, which works to encourage and spread the study of the teachings of the Ohr Hachaim , out of a desire to bring the public closer to the light of its Torah through the power of music.
