David Ben Arza, one of the most prominent voices in the new wave of Israeli Jewish music, is releasing a new and exciting single: “Tehillim”. After “Lechu Lamayim” and “Ani Tefilla”, Ben Arza continues his unique path with a sincere and personal song, dealing with mental turmoil, hope, and great faith. The project is being released with the support of the Torah Culture Department – Jerusalem Municipality.
During the song, David presents his personal perspective on “Tehillim” as a source of strength that accompanies him in moments of breaking and overflowing: “During the long, sad days, I read pesukim of tehillim … On the broken nights, I write songs and it helps me.” When the iconic phrase “Eizeh Melech Mi Shekatav Et Tehillim- what a king who wrote tehillim” is added at the end.
The musical production is signed by Ben Maor and Amir Sade, and as a complement to the artistic image of the song “Ugan Bamayim So’arim”, David produced a music video together with director Omer Tsubari, which was filmed entirely in a special wooden house built entirely in the sea.
