I’m really excited to share my new song, SHOFAR.

The words “Ashrei ha’am yodei teruah” “Praiseworthy are the people who understand the sound of the shofar” have always caught my attention.

What does it mean to truly understand the sound of the shofar?

To me, the shofar is a cry, a call to wake up, do teshuvah, and come back to Hashem.

But there’s another shofar we’re all waiting to hear.

“Teka b’shofar gadol l’cheiruseinu” – “Sound the great shofar for our freedom.”

The shofar that tells us the waiting is finally over. Mashiach is here. We’re reunited, there’s peace in the world, and the Beis Hamikdash is standing again.

That’s what SHOFAR is about, the cry calling us back today, and the sound we’re waiting to hear tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy it and that it brings a little extra meaning to the shofar this Rosh Hashanah.
