In the midst of days of division and controversy among the nation, Aviya Sherman and Moishe Pressberger unite voices and messages in a new single – “Yehudi Pashut ” – a musical work that connects worlds and emphasizes what we all have in common.
Aviya Sherman, a singer and songwriter who also serves as a reserve officer, is known for a series of hits that have received great resonance in recent times. This time he collaborates with the beloved Chassidic wedding singer Moishe Pressberger – who also wrote and composed the song.
“In the vicissitudes of life, there are moments when we feel hidden and have difficulty seeing and feeling Hashem’s care for us,” says Sherman. “In joint prayer, we seek to be simply Jews – because deep down, more than anything, this is who we truly are.”
“Yehudi Pashut” carries a clear message: No matter who you are, what background you come from or what your role in life is – we are all Jews first and foremost, brothers by blood.
