On the eve of the holiday of Shavuot, R’ Yisrael Edelman was summoned to the inner sanctum—the residence of the Talna Rebbe. The Rebbe made an unusual and personal request: to compose a new niggun specifically for the stirring words from the Hoshanot prayer: “Chabuka Udvuka Bach“.

The mission resulted in a sweeping, emotionally charged melody that quickly earned a place of honor within the Chassidic court. Since that holiday eve, the niggun has become an integral part of every Tish and gathering in the community, stirring hearts most powerfully during the days of Sukkot and Hoshanot.

Now, the melody is stepping beyond the walls of the Beit Midrash in a meticulously crafted production. Vocalist, Shloime Bukshpan, enters the studio to deliver a warm, precise, and captivating performance that captures the full power of the niggun. He is joined by the “Talner Cappelya,” adding authentic Chassidic flavor, with musical arrangement by Naftali Landesman.
