During the days of forgiveness, we all encounter the request “Aneinu” every day. Since many well-known melodies and even lesser ones have been released to these words, it was appropriate to combine the songs and present it on a platter of gold, with an innovative cover that would include the best songs.
Since there are many melodies to these words, the two singers, Shea Assaf and the arranger Yeedela Alter set out to collect the best songs that are moving, touching, and even joyful.. and the result is perfect.
The medley combines ancient melodies with those that have been released in recent years, and Shea seems to be able to do it with great grace, as he juggles all the styles and presents it here before you.
The medley begins with Aneinu, with the melody of Pinchas Bichler, and from there straight to the familiar tune that we all grew up with, the composer Sruli Ginsburg. Then, Shea performs the wondrous and moving work that gives an interpretation and another angle to these words, a canticle by Moshe Koussevitzky, an ancient and touching work, and from there he jumps in time to a song that was released only in recent years, a light and refreshing song by Dudi Kalish, and the closing song is Aneinu by Moti Weiss, which gives extra punch and life to the medley.
Shea is a friend of the arranger Yeedela Alter, who also entrusted the concept of the medley, the voices, the production of the song, the musical production, and the entire envelope, so that it reaches your ears in the best and most professional way.
