About six months ago, David Ichilevitch and Amiran Dvir shared a stage together. At the end of the event, the two decided that it was time to collaborate for the first time.
Amiran brought the lyrics and the melody with him, and after a few hours of hard work and David‘s intervention in the main part of the chorus, the song was upgraded to the satisfaction of both of them. After two sleepless nights, the two left David‘s studio, with a smile on their faces, and a song ready.
Amiran says: “David has a special talent that starts with his piano playing, continues with the precise arrangement, the sounds that surround the song, the arrangements of the voices, and most importantly, something that has never happened to me before. We produced a song, for hours, each sentence, at times when he lingered for a long time on the phrasing of a single word, he did not give up on even a single letter.
And for that, I owe him my gratitude and appreciation.”
David says:
“I met Amiran after an event we both were involved in. For a long time I had wanted to do a musical collaboration with him. This time I didn’t give up on him and insisted on scheduling a creative session with me in the studio. Amiran came to me with a song he wrote and composed, a very moving song about his longing for Hashem. I immediately felt a connection and the arrangement flowed very naturally. We spent 2 nights of recordings, playing and creating. I even wanted to sing a verse in the song and Amiran agreed! ♥️ It is a very moving song.

Amiran adds: The song is dedicated out of immense love for Hashem, with singing from the depths of the heart: “Father, your children are calling, when will we ever be united.”
