Special & Exciting: Shneur Matoff Releases A Chazzanus Album For The Yamim Noraim

The talented cantor Shneur Matoff from the Chabad community in Lod is currently launching his special album “Nussach Lubavitch L’Yamim Noraim“. The chazzanus album is the result of a long work, combining rare vocal talent with meticulous attention to the exact text of the prayer as practiced in the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s 770 beis medrash in New York.

Shneur, known for his high-quality voice, brings into the microphone the exact Chabad text, as it is meticulously and devotedly preserved in the Rebbe’s beis midrash. Anyone who listens to Shneur immediately feels that he is in 770. The new album is an opportunity for every Jew in the world to experience the power of the prayers of the Yamim Noraim in the original text, as they are recited in the Holy Courtyard.

But it is not only the technical precision that makes the album unique. Shneur Matoff manages to deliver the prayers in a delightful and very moving way. He manages to convey the words of the prayer not only through his voice, but through all the fibers of his soul. Listeners say that they really feel the immense intention behind every word, every melody, and every tone of voice. The prayer becomes a complete spiritual experience, which sweeps the audience away and uplifts the soul.

Rabbi Shneur‘s version is based primarily on the version of Rabbi Mordechai Berkowitz Shlita, as well as of the cantors of 770 throughout the years: Rabbi Shmuel M.M. Butman, Rabbi Yossel Weinberg, Rabbi, and the cantors of the Chabad community in Lod – Rabbi Zusha Poizner, Rabbi, and yibadel lichaim tovim, Rabbi Nachum Kaplan Shyichye.

With such outstanding talent, a quality voice, precision in the 770 version, and a wonderful ability to convey emotion and intention – there is no doubt that Shneur Matoff is a name that will still be heard a lot in the world of Chabad prayer. His new album, intended for the Yamim Noraim, is available for listening on all platforms, and expects to illuminate the hearts.
