Chanukkah Is Approaching & A Great Light Awaits Us At the End Of The road. The Wonder Boy Turns On The Light: Shay Viner – “Hamigdalor Sheli-My Lighthouse”

The wonder boy Shay Viner, who recently won the title of “Discovery of the Year” on the music charts, continues to storm the playlist just before Chanukkah with a new single, shining like a beacon, energetic and full of hope: “Hamigdalor Sheli“.
In a world of noise, distractions and an endless race, Viner returns with a quiet, yet powerful message: Even at a young age, it is permissible and desirable to dream big, and it is important to remember that there is always something and someone to lean on.
“A lighthouse” is not just a lantern that shines from afar; it is the internal compass to which we look to make sure that the direction is right. The song, mature and courageous, carries a personal and honest statement: “Come, I am not shining for you, I am shining with you”.
Shai Viner, who grew up as an ultra-Orthodox teenager, brings with him a new message to religious music. He offers a song that crosses borders, audiences and sectors, and invites listeners to partner in the search for truth, instead of offering external standards or foreign hope.
The song was written by the duo of writers Rami Lev and Noam Lev, who managed to translate Viner‘s illuminating message into words that touch the heart. The moving and powerful melody, also by Rami Lev, is wrapped in a nostalgic musical arrangement by arranger Daniel Chen, whose sounds recall the classic 60s, and prove that the compass was always there – you just had to look.

Hamigdalor Sheli” is a call to practical action: lifting our eyes in times of confusion, choosing companionship over loneliness, and uncompromising faith even in the midst of the storm. Shay Viner continues to prove that even at a young age it is possible to tackle life’s big questions, with artistic depth and emotional maturity.
Happy Chanukkah!
