Singer and songwriter Moshe Mintz is releasing a new single from his upcoming album, a touching, empowering and hopeful song that seeks to illuminate the heart even in times of darkness. The single carries the lyrics: “He who trusts in One – is not afraid of anyone,” and it comes as the soundtrack to a painful, yet inspiring period for the people of Israel.
The song was written following the journey we have all had since October 7, a journey filled with moments of fear, uncertainty, and the pain of ongoing loss, both in Israel and in the diaspora. But amidst this darkness, Mintz chose to shine with faith. It is precisely from the fracture that an inner cry rises that refuses to surrender: We rose. We continued. And we saw once again that with confidence and faith in One – we are not afraid of anyone!
The song is accompanied by a contemporary musical production with pop and electro touches, but at its center stands a beating heart of faith. This is a song that connects the national pulse of the last days with the inner melody of the Jewish people, the one that never stops singing, even in tears.
Moshe Mintz shares:
“I wanted to give voice to this moving journey that we have all been through. Not only to the memory of the pain, but also to the strength that was born from it. It is a song that reminds us that our real wars are not only on the battlefields, but also in the heart, in faith, in the choice not to fall to the wind. At the height of darkness – we rediscover the light.”
The new single is the opening shot for an exciting album that is expected to be released soon, and will bring with it rare connections between soul music and current arrangements, between tradition and contemporaneity, and most importantly, between unity and faith.
