After many long months of anticipation, Yaakov Shwekey has released the third EP in his acclaimed ‘Guf V’Neshama’ series, titled ‘Shabbat Gan Eden’. The album features a total of six new tracks, continuing the rich diversity of musical styles found in the previous volumes. Notably, it includes two stirring duets with Chaim Yisrael and Eliad.
As with the earlier albums in the series, ‘Shabbat Gan Eden’ is part of a broader initiative of achdus and chizuk that Yaakov has been promoting since the beginning of the war — a true partnership of destiny among all parts of Klal Israel, in Eretz Yisrael and throughout the world.
The production brought together a wide range of talented composers and arrangers, including Avi Ohayon, Eliad Nachum, Pen Chazut, Dovid Ichilevitz, Shlomi Azriel, Avrumi Berko, Yitzy Waldner, and others.
Yaakov shared: “As someone living in the United States, it’s extremely difficult for me to be physically distant from my brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel during such a challenging time. We are all one nation, and we all feel the pain of Klal Yisroel. But Baruch Hashem, the Ribbono Shel Olam has given me the zechus to share songs — a way to send a message of strength and emunah, especially in these times when we all need encouragement and hope. My tefillah is that this album should serve as a source of inspiration, achdus, and Kiddush Hashem in the world.
